MOĆNO is a family business. It began in 2023 in a Belgrade kitchen, where Milena and Ivan were growing microgreens for their own children. Today the farm runs 400+ growing trays a week across more than 20 varieties, supplies households and 30+ partner kitchens and chains, and makes the first microgreens pesto in the world.
Nikola builds the part of it that is not soil. The online store, the 3D farm configurator, the IoT analytics platform, the onboarding our partner farms go through, and everything you read on this blog.
He works as a Senior Director of Product Management (Head of Product) at SAP, where he leads a portfolio of "lead-to-cash" products and international teams. MOĆNO's product and marketing side is led the same way: decisions come from data, not from personal opinions.
When a post gives you a number - grams of seed per tray, days in blackout, an actual yield, the loss on a failed batch - it came out of our own production records. Milena and Ivan run the farm and check every figure before it goes out. Anything we can't back with our data or a cited study does not get published.
