Ivan Jovanović, co-founder and COO of MOĆNO

Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer, MOĆNO

Ivan runs everything that has to happen the same way every week: the growing cycles, processing, cold chain, and the standards our partner farms produce to.

He spent thirteen years in corporate operations and analytics, most of it at NCR, managing global projects and running analytics for multi-functional teams. He holds an MA in Entrepreneurship (Faculty of Economics, Belgrade) and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, where he finished as a top student. That is where MOĆNO's partner-farm model comes from: a farm that can't be written down as a procedure cannot be repeated somewhere else.

He built the production side of the business - the internal procedures, the batch traceability, the pesto processing protocol, and the IoT layer that tells every farm in the network what its room is actually doing. He also leads the fermentation and freeze-drying work, which is what takes microgreens from an 8 to 14 day shelf life to a jar that keeps for six months.

On the blog, Ivan is the reason a growing number is a measurement and not an estimate.
